Buying Guide: Key Purchase Considerations
- Style and Theme: Match the invitation design to your wedding aesthetic—greenery, floral, boho, or laser-cut pockets for a formal feel. Consider color schemes, typography, and envelope colors.
- Paper and Print Quality: Look for 300g cardstock or equivalent with an eggshell texture for premium tactile appeal. Double-thick cards feel sturdier and more luxurious in guest hands.
- Completeness: Confirm what’s included—invites, RSVP cards, envelopes, vellum wraps, and seals. Some sets include wax seals or wax seal stickers for an extra touch of elegance.
- Customization Options: Some kits provide blank inner sheets or templates for personalized wording. Ensure you can print or handwrite the RSVP details legibly.
- Practicality: Self-sealing envelopes save time and reduce the risk of damaged invitations. Consider the size compatibility of RSVP cards and envelopes to fit standard postage.
- Packaging and Presentation: Vellum wraps and wax seals elevate presentation, particularly for outdoor or destination weddings where a memorable first impression is valuable.
- Budget and Scale: If you need larger guest lists, evaluate sets that deliver bulk invitations (e.g., 30 or 50 units) to simplify ordering and consistency.
- Delivery Time and Returns: Check estimated shipping times and return policies, especially if you’re coordinating invitations with venue fit dates.
